LE DÉLUGE WATER-BATTLE

A willingness to get wet and a determination to get everyone else wetter were essential qualities for participants in the Le Déluge water-battle. On Sunday 23 August, we invited families to put their hydro-ballistic inventions through their paces in an epic water-battle challenge. They brought their own DIY inventions and joined Pete Casby in an outdoor maker session building puddle-suckers and super-soakers.

Egged on by our Captain of Coordinated Chaos, Guido Fanzini, family teams took part in challenges putting the range, accuracy and soaking capacity of their weapons to the test, as well as family loyalties in an all-out water battle royale.
